The position requires a DVM/VMD, state license, and DEA license, with 5+ years hospital experience and prior leadership/mentoring roles.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent required.
• State Veterinary License required.
• DEA license required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital operations and ensure high-quality care.
• Lead and mentor Associate Doctors and staff.
• Develop annual plans, budgets, and productivity targets.
• Schedule management and time-off planning per WellHaven guidelines.
• Ensure licensure, OSHA/DEA compliance, and ethics.
