Daily Responsibilities

We have multiple openings on our training and education team. Remote work within the U.S. is considered.

Become part of a dynamic team responsible for training our sales and clinical specialists in cardiac ablation for arrhythmias. As part of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit, you will educate key organizational groups, especially as we expand into new markets and technologies. Use your creativity and passion to develop impactful training that brings life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.

  • Develop and deliver in-house product training for support personnel and customers.
  • Gather information, prepare materials, and develop course content and aids.
  • Ensure training meets company and customer objectives.
  • Maintain communication with customers to assess training effectiveness.
  • Utilize technical trainers as needed.
  • Update lesson plans to meet new requirements and keep information current.
  • Participate in curriculum development using adult instructional design models.
  • Design and implement engaging education programs to enhance electrophysiology knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compliant educational content supporting business strategies.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Work with Physician Education team to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Travel up to 50% as required.
Qualifications for Principal Level
  • High School Diploma + 11 years relevant experience or
  • Associate’s Degree + 9 years relevant experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 7 years relevant experience or
  • 3 years of EP mapping experience
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced Electrophysiology certification (RCIS or IBHRE preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Smart Sheets, Articulate & Rise, Adobe, Camtasia, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Instructional design, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong external relationships
  • Passion for impactful training and knowledge of medical device curriculum development

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $109,600 - $164,400. Eligible for Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition reimbursement, and well-being programs.
