As the new Principal Training & Education Specialist, you will become an integral part of our dynamic CRM New Hire Field Training Team, committed to educating and empowering our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) field force. Drawing on your subject matter expertise, experience, and passion, you will train field representatives who play a vital role in delivering life-changing devices and therapies to improve the lives of thousands of patients.

A Day in the Life :

As a Principal Training & Education Specialist for Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) New Hire Training, you will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and managing impactful training programs that align with organizational goals and enhance the skills and knowledge of our field personnel. Your expertise will ensure CRM field representatives are fully prepared to support the implantation and ongoing management of CRM devices . In this role, you will:

  • Deliver online and in-person training sessions on CRM topics using diverse methods, including didactic instruction, remote hands-on simulations, and in-person hands-on activities.

  • Conduct formal evaluations of student performance on CRM products and procedural knowledge and techniques .

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of training programs and events focused on Medtronic CRM products, therapies, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Medical Education, and Marketing to create interactive, engaging training programs tailored for both virtual and in-person formats.

  • Develop and maintain digital education content aligned with field priorities.

  • Identify content gaps related to training on Medtronic technologies and implement effective solutions to address these gaps.

  • Stay engaged in continuous learning to remain a trusted resource of accurate, up-to-date knowledge, with a focus on adult education curriculum design and delivery methods.

  • Navigate the content/document review and approval process to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

  • Track and manage program logistics, compliance, budget, and performance metrics using project management tools.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with peers, colleagues, and global business partners across organizational levels, including Sales and international teams.

  • Be open to traveling up to 3 0% of the time to support training initiatives.

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of experience in training, field sales, sales support, clinical or technical roles within the medical device industry (OR Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience).

  • Extensive (3+ years) recent Medtronic CRM field experience, including hands-on support for CRM device evaluations and implant procedures.

  • Strong background in working with complex technical content and translating key insights into effective, impactful training.

Nice To Have:

  • International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (IBHRE CCDS) certification.

  • Advanced e lectrophysiology certifications (e.g., RCIS or IBHRE CEPS).

  • Experience designing in-person and online learning in a variety of modalities including classroom, synchronous and asynchronous, microlearning, and digital job aids .

  • Experience working on multiple, simultaneous projects that require both strategic thinking and high-speed tactical execution .

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and learning principles .

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$109,600.00 - $164,400.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
