Job summary

Amazon's Prime Video seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to define and deliver high-impact, cross-organizational programs across CX, Personalization, Discovery, Commerce and Beta initiatives. You will partner with VPs and engineering leaders to set vision, drive architecture, and deliver ML/AI-enabled solutions that scale for hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects.
• 12+ years of technical program management experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver programs with broad cross-organizational impact across Prime Video.
• Drive clarity in ambiguous spaces where strategy and architecture may not exist.
• Set program vision, strategy and long-term roadmaps for high-visibility initiatives.
• Decompose complex problems into scalable, actionable solutions.
• Drive architecture and organizational changes enabling independent teams.
• Partner with science and engineering to integrate ML/AI capabilities.
• Influence priorities and technology direction through data-driven judgment.
• Build consensus among senior leadership across organizations.
• Create mechanisms for long-term program success with or without your involvement.
• Mentor TPMs and perform promotion assessments.
