Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) in Promontory, UT seeks an Engineer Energetics Manufacturing (Level 2) or Principal Engineer Energetics Manufacturing (Level 3). You will design, fabricate, and inspect tooling and equipment for aerospace programs, ensuring manufacturability and meeting cost/schedule goals.

Level 2 requires a BS in STEM with 2 years of experience (or MS with 0), and Level 3 requires 5 years of experience (or MS with 3).

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2 years of engineering experience or MS with 0 years.
• MS in STEM with 3 years of experience for Level 3.
• Experience evaluating vendor and equipment capability for tooling production.
• Experience with closed form and FE analysis; ANSYS preferred.
• Solid modeling experience with Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• Interface with review team to assure customer satisfaction.
• Manage projects and coordinate procurements and fabrication.
• Inspect fabricated support hardware for design compliance.
• Work with manufacturing to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
• Develop tooling concepts and improve manufacturing processes.
• Review drawings for manufacturability; support vendors during fabrication.
