• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, detection engineering, threat hunting, or security operations.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering skills with APIs and CI/CD.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and operating detection content and services.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and security analytics platforms and detection rules.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for detection engineering.
• Architect scalable detection capabilities using cloud-native technologies.
• Lead design, development, and lifecycle management of detection capabilities and alerting workflows.
• Provide hands-on leadership for complex detection challenges and mentor engineers.
• Partner with incident responders and threat intelligence teams to translate intelligence into detections.
