Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Engineer to build technology that enables fraud analysts to detect, investigate, and mitigate fraud and abuse. You’ll create scalable tools and workflows with a focus on AI/automation to surface insights quickly and reduce repetitive work.

The role requires strong Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, and React skills, plus an interest in cyber threat detection. Hybrid work onsite at MN HQ with flexible days.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in this role or similar roles.
• Experience with Kotlin/Java, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL DB.
• UI development with React.
• Familiarity with LLM-based coding assistants.

Responsibilities
