Job summary

International Mezzo Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks a Principal Performance Engineer to tackle thermal and mechanical challenges in heat exchanger technology.

You will guide the full development cycle from sizing to qualification testing. You will develop analytical models, perform simulations (ANSYS Workbench), and coordinate verification plans while collaborating with designers and project managers to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering analysis and simulations.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Experience with engineering simulations and verification/validation.
• Familiarity with ANSYS Workbench or other analysis software.
• Strong grasp of mechanics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with materials selection for mechanical design.
• Analytical programming in Python or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations for stress, heat transfer and fluid flow.
• Develop and execute verification plans for new products.
• Produce documentation in support of design reviews and data deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers to balance performance and manufacturability.
• Coordinate qualification testing for new products.
• Develop and maintain analytical models and tools.
• Stay abreast of latest technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
