Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Test Engineer Principal to lead testing for a DHS Rev Mod program. The role focuses on defining testing strategy, implementing processes, and delivering scalable test solutions for mission-critical government projects.

You will drive test planning, automation, and defect resolution while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes on-site collaboration and strong documentation skills to support enterprise testing

Qualifications

• BS in a related field or equivalent
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Security clearance: DHS Background Investigation required
• US citizenship required
• On-site role preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and implement testing roles within the program
• Deploy and manage testing processes to meet the testing mandate
• Define testing scope for each project/release/delivery
• Develop test management plans, schedules and resources
• Create and manage test scenarios and test cases
• Set up and implement automated testing
• Execute testing as needed
• Manage defect identification, tracking and resolution
• Maintain measurements and metrics
• Grow testing assets including team, tools and processes
• Coordinate with business, IT, and operations stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and project standards
• Develop documentation for ELC requirements and project needs
• Provide management reporting
