Job summary

A leading semiconductor provider is seeking a Principal Test Engineer in San Jose, CA. In this hybrid position, you will define test plans and ensure comprehensive test coverage while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has experience in test coverage and DFT, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, and can design ATE hardware for new product introduction.

Qualifications

• Experience with Test coverage and DFT (Scan/ATPG/JTAG/BIST).
• Collaboration with internal teams and offshore OSAT's.
• Experience on DDR and High speed Digital products preferred.

A leading chip and silicon IP provider is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to join the Operations team. In this role, you’ll work on high-performance products alongside top engineers and inventors, helping to make data faster and more secure.

This position offers a hybrid work model, with an expectation of three days onsite each week and two days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Define the Test plan and work with design to ensure good Test coverage.
• Effective communications skills with internal cross functional teams, customers and suppliers.
• Able to design ATE hardware for NPI support , including Load Board, probe card, interface
• Complete life cycle of products from design, prototypes, high volume manufacturing bring up and RMA/sustaining support.
• Optimize yield, Test time and multi-site count

Requirements:

• Experience with Test coverage and DFT (Scan/ATPG/JTAG/BIST).
• Experience working with Local and offshore OSAT's.
• Experience and in depth knowledge of Advantest V93k .
• Experience on Smartest, Redhat and GIT/SVN.
• Experience on DDR and High speed Digital products preferred.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
• B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Salary Range: San Jose, CA Base $150K-190K (DOE)
