Principal Technical Support Engineer (Multiple Openings)
  • Interact with customers and partners at senior levels to serve as a trusted advisor to support Pega technology, gain insight, and understand the customer needs and solutions.
  • Responsible for supporting customer teams and Pega partners to deliver first-class response in time critical situations.
  • Provide engineering support and solutions to professional services, technical and business teams.
  • Work with Engineering and Application teams to research responses to well qualified challenges.
  • Provide triage leadership, guidance, and status in accordance with Pega’s service level agreement.
  • Must be certified as Certified System Architect (CSA) within three months of onboarding.

What You'll Do At Pega

Who You Are

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronic Engineering, or related field of study, and
  • 6 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position working in a product support, development or troubleshooting capacity with a leading technology company.
  • Experience specified must include 6 years of experience with each of the following:
    • In a range of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery;
    • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving enterprise application issues;
    • Supporting internal and external client stakeholders; and
    • Assessing and determining whether a particular customer problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
  • Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with programming using Java.
  • Experience specified must include 2 years of experience with each of the following:
    • Advising, mentoring and training junior team members on customer issues resolution;
    • Operating Systems including Windows and Linux; and
    • J2EE Application Servers such as Tomcat.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Can reside anywhere in the US.

Salary: $158,148 to $163,000/year
