The Raytheon Connected Factory Intelligence team is seeking an experienced Product Owner. The Product Owner will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organization’s strategic goals. The candidate will bridge the gap between the product vision and execution by creating a detailed backlog of user stories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define features, and ensure successful product delivery. This role acts as a critical technical liaison between the three manufacturing sectors and should integrate solutions across sites.

This position is an ONSITE role at either our Andover, MA; Forest, MS; McKinney, TX; Tucson, AZ sites

What You Will Do
  • Develop a concept of operations on how the product should function and define specific product features
  • Product backlog management: create product definitions, features and capabilities based on customer requirements, define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for development teams
  • Design products with a focus on cost-effectiveness and rapid time-to-market across different sectors
  • Product delivery: participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives and act as the voice of the customer within the development team
  • Develop product launch plans and marketing strategies
  • Monitor product adoption and usage metrics
  • Gather customer feedback and usage metrics and monitor product KPIs
  • Responsible for product documentation
  • Travel expected: up to 25% of the time
What You Will Learn
  • Advanced skills in prioritizing tasks and features based on business value and strategic objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams
  • Ability to analyze product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies or a minimum of 8 years with an advanced degree
  • Experience bridging the gap between a product’s vision and its successful delivery across multiple businesses while working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
Qualifications We Prefer
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies with experience in developing features, stories and backlog management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience with product management tools (DevOps, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
  • Experience with transition to production of software products
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Salary range: 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range is a good faith estimate and may vary based on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, and more, per business unit and applicable agreements.
