Description:

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the development and communication of target-state architectures, roadmaps, and solutions for technologies at the product portfolio level. With experience, the individual may support multiple technologies across various product portfolios and complex architecture domains (e.g., business, application, data, infrastructure). This includes designing high-quality architecture solutions and providing expertise on establishing architecture standards aligned with current and future business needs. The role involves developing and maintaining architecture for assigned areas and promoting the adoption of new technologies. Success requires deep solution architecture expertise, awareness of technical trends and innovation, strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership. The individual works independently and mentors junior architects.

Estimated salary range for this position is $149,730.30 - $194,649.39 per year, depending on experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in technology disciplines.
  • Experience architecting scalable and highly available systems, with emerging technologies including mobile.
  • Ability to synthesize research, compare solutions, and develop complex technology roadmaps.
  • Broad experience across business, application, information, infrastructure, and security architecture domains.
  • Experience in business analysis, product design, engineering, QA, operations, and sustainment in large enterprise environments.
  • Technical expertise in consumer/employee-facing enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in technical architecture, application system design, and integration within heterogeneous enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with MicroServices, Java/J2EE, XML, WebSphere/WebLogic/Apache Tomcat, Rules Engine, and Oracle or DB2 databases.
  • Strong understanding of coding practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills.
