This role requires strong hands-on development skills, particularly in integrating enterprise systems to enable scalable, intelligent document lifecycle automation, implementing Kofax-like solutions, automating document workflows, and consulting with clients to translate business needs into technical execution. The ideal candidate will bring a “builder” mindset, architectural insight, and a passion for designing and deploying high-performance, automated document processing solutions that incorporate OCR, machine learning, and seamless integration with enterprise platforms.

This is a Client-Facing Consulting role. You will collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, define technical roadmaps, and deliver best-fit solutions. Present architecture plans and technical options clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Guide clients in information governance strategy, document lifecycle automation, and compliance alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural oversight and technical leadership on IDP

  • Analyze business needs and document-centric workflows to design end-to-end automation solutions

  • Lead development and optimization of intelligent capture, classification, data extraction, and validation processes

  • Integrate OCR and natural language processing (NLP) components to enhance unstructured document understanding

  • Implement machine learning models for document classification, entity recognition, and workflow decisioning

  • Apply document AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI Document Intelligence, GCP Document AI, Tesseract) in production settings

Custom Development & Integration:

  • Write and maintain scripts and connectors using C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL

  • Design secure and scalable integration layers with platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SAP, and Workday

  • Leverage platforms like Workato to orchestrate document-centric workflows across cloud and on-prem systems

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of OCR and document automation tools including: Tesseract, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Google Cloud Document AI

  • Background in AI-powered document automation, including: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), LLM training and tuning, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Lucene, Strong grasp of intelligent document capture workflows and document classification/extraction

  • Content Management & Information Governance: Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Information Governance frameworks, Understanding of enterprise content architectures and system integration patterns

  • Proficient in: JavaScript / Angular / React, C# / .NET, Python & SQL

  • Proven experience integrating with enterprise content repositories such as Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, SAP, Workday, and others

  • Capable of creating scalable, maintainable, and secure integration layers between systems

  • Experience using Workato or similar platforms for low-code/no-code integration, automating workflows and orchestrating integrations across SaaS platforms and databases

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A technical utility knife – adaptable, quick-thinking, and hands-on

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive solutions with minimal oversight

  • Excellent communication skills, able to interface directly with clients and internal teams

  • Enjoys hacking, problem-solving, and finding creative workarounds to complex issues
