Job description

• Reporting to the Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning, this role leads new solutions for MERL across Jhpiego projects.
• Focus is on high-quality technical approaches, complex research studies, and advanced data analyses to meet program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level technical assistance, ensuring programs are evidence-based and responsive to country and donor priorities.
• Lead design of implementation research, advanced data analyses, and new tools to accelerate results.
• Build technical capacity and mentor staff, supporting knowledge management and peer-reviewed publications.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in public health, statistics, economics, or behavioral science, with 8-10 years of MERL experience.
• Strong expertise in implementation research and advanced quantitative methods, with experience in challenging international settings.

Total Rewards:

• The hourly rate for this role is $52.79 - $68.73, with a comprehensive benefits package from Johns Hopkins University.
• This is a casual employment position from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, offering the opportunity to contribute to global health impact.
