Job description

We’re seeking a strategic and high-impact Principal Recruiter to join our recruiting team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leadership to lead end-to-end recruitment of Senior positions for Walmart Corporate Functions. As a trusted advisor, you’ll bring deep recruitment expertise, experience identifying top talent, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. By working in person at our Bentonville, Arkansas Headquarters, you’ll have direct access to senior executives and gain deeper insight into our business.

What you'll do...
  1. Lead a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that includes sourcing, interviewing and hiring critical Senior roles across Walmart Corporate Functions, which include People for People, Finance, Global Governance and Corporate Affairs.
  2. Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and stakeholders through impactful consultation and influencing skills.
  3. Be regarded as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor to the business by having a strong understanding of target talent markets, including trends in compensation, evaluation, and talent branding.
  4. Regularly provide market insights and talent recommendations to ensure alignment with the company’s growth goals.
  5. Track and report on recruitment metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  6. Implement efficient, scalable and effective talent acquisition processes and leverage technology enhancements that support growth, efficiency and key business priorities.
  7. Comply with all federal, state regulations concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of continuous and progressive experience in a talent acquisition role in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, partner, and influence senior leaders across multiple corporate functions.
  • Proven understanding of web search engine/tools, social media, applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong time management, communication and analytical skills.

Additional Benefits

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are fully paid by Walmart. Eligibility varies by benefit and employment status. Benefits are subject to change.

Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses, stock options, and other incentives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related area and 3 years’ experience in HR or talent acquisition.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in HR or talent acquisition.
