Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and lead studies including insulation coordination, harmonics, grounding, transient stability, and generator interconnection using tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, EMTP-RV, and others.
  • Execute studies on distributed energy resources, battery storage, and grid planning using CYME, Synergi, ETAP, and Plexos.
  • Manage all aspects of study execution: scope, strategy, schedule, budget, resource planning, and reporting.
  • Automate and enhance simulation models using programming tools like MATLAB, Python, and C++.
  • Lead customer proposal development and technical report delivery, ensuring high-quality, accurate documentation.
  • Present technical findings internally and externally; author white papers and conference presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions and global counterparts to support product application and equipment design parameters.
  • Provide technical mentorship and promote the effective use of engineering tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in utility planning, power systems consulting, or T&D application engineering.
  • Advanced expertise in electric power system modeling, operation, and control.
