Elbit America is seeking a Principal Systems Integration Engineer to design and integrate visually augmented systems for dismounted Warfighter applications, including see-through displays with extended reality. You will translate complex customer requirements into technical solutions and manage development, integration, and testing efforts.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer of Integrated Vision Systems, you will mentor junior engineers, configure middleware, and collaborate with product teams to

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of related experience with system integration and middleware technologies.
• Experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and EDI for integration tasks.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, I2C, SPI).
• Proficient in Python scripting for imaging applications; Linux/Windows; LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure and reliable system integration solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple technical teams to ensure complete ecosystem integration.
• Create and manage laboratory environments for hardware/software integration and testing.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for integration projects.
• Travel to company sites as needed; mentor junior engineers.
