Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Systems Engineer in Oklahoma City to lead MBSE efforts across modernized programs. You'll develop requirements, write specs, and manage interfaces with IPT leads and external customers, guiding complex system definitions and architecture decisions.

You will collaborate across disciplines, maintain engineering artifacts under CM procedures, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences while supporting verification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and SAP clearance.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management.
  • Experience with Python or scripting and interface with tools like DOORS/Cameo.

Responsibilities

  • Develop MBSE artifacts using Cameo and MBSE practices.
  • Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning.
  • Write complex specifications and interface control documents.
  • Maintain configuration-managed Systems Engineering artifacts.
  • Coordinate with IPTs and external customers to verify and validate artifacts.
  • Lead stakeholder communications across technical and non-technical audiences.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
