Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to lead GBR system architectures, requirements, and integration efforts.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams in developing advanced radar solutions and ensuring system-level performance aligns with mission objectives. With 8+ years in DoD system integration and test, you will mentor engineers, present technical results to leadership, and contribute to the modernization of missile-defense sensor

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline.
• 8+ years experience in an engineering role with system integration and/or test of complex, large scale DOD systems.
• Advanced knowledge of radar/sensors, ship systems, system integration and test.
• Experience with MATLAB and DOORS; demonstrated leadership as a Complex System Integration and/or Complex System Test Lead.
• Experience developing and presenting technical information to leaders or customers.
• Advanced specialty knowledge in Systems Engineering and Integration/Test of complex, large-scale systems; provides guidance, coaching or training of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectures and requirements to define, characterize, and document Ground Based Radar (GBR) systems.
• Contribute to architectural framework updates, system-of-system functional and performance requirements, detailed algorithm descriptions, test scenario definitions, and verification approaches.
• Conduct requirements analysis and benchmarking to validate algorithm designs and ensure system-level performance aligns with operational objectives.
• Collaborate closely with software and integration/test engineers to deliver innovative and high-performing radar solutions.
