What YOU will do:
  • You will serve as the engineering project leader, responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of small to medium size projects, ensuring alignment with both internal and customer expectations.
  • You will lead design of display products, interfacing with internal stakeholders to ensure project and organizational goals are met seamlessly.
  • You will ensure compliance with Collins Consistent Engineering Processes and program/product requirements as detailed in design plans.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: link
  • Proven leadership experience in developing aerospace products and managing small technical projects.
  • Knowledge of Avionics regulatory and certification requirements: TSO, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Optical or displays engineering background, enhancing your ability to lead in technical discussions and decisions.
  • Strong multi-mode communication skills, able to effectively coordinate across diverse groups and influence senior management.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
