Job summary

Varen, an SAIC company, seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Suitland, MD. This role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered. The position entails SE support for the Architecture & Engineering team and involvement across the system lifecycle.

You will architect, engineer, develop, deploy, and sustain systems to meet mission requirements, conduct studies, manage requirements, and maintain SE documentation and artifacts throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and nine (9) years of experience or more.
• Masters and seven (7) years or more experience.
• PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

• Supports performance analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and strategic solution development.

• Responsible for architecting, engineering, developing, implementing, integrating, deploying, and sustaining systems to meet business and mission requirements.


• Conducts engineering studies, requirements engineering, design engineering, implementation/integration, and test/evaluation.


• Develops and maintains SE documentation and artifacts (needs assessments, project plans, SEMP, configuration management plans, CONOPs, requirements/design specifications, integration/test plans, deployment/validation documents, O&M plans).


• Supports performance analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and strategic solution development.

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
