Qualifications

• BS Engineering with 20+ years of technical and project management experience.
• Knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems capabilities and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Support high-visibility MDA programs and act as primary interface with the customer.
• Develop and execute system architecture, design, documentation, requirements, and verification.
• Provide direct systems engineering support and coordinate with team members for integrated test plans.
• Coordinate efforts of multiple government and industry partners and present to government stakeholders.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and perform program reviews.
• Travel 6-12 trips per year to multiple destinations.

Principal Systems Engineer

Capstone Research Corporation is seeking to expand our team. Capstone Research Corporation is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama. We have an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Dahlgren, VA. This will be a high visibility position for Capstone Research Corporation with a significant opportunity for growth. Salary for this position will depend on education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support high-visibility critical aspects of MDA programs.
• Serve as primary interface with the customer
• Develop and execute system architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verification.
• Provide direct systems engineering support and coordinate engineering services with team members to serve the technical needs of the program. Develop and execute integrated test plans for the efforts.
• Coordinate efforts of multiple government and industry partners
• Provide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholders.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Requirements

• BS Engineering (MS Preferred) with 20+ years of technical and project management experience.
• Must possess knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems capabilities and functionality
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios.
• Experience running complex system of systems programs/projects across their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and sustainment.
• Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies
• Ability to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the Company.
• Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 6-12 trips per year with multiple destinations
• Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be US Citizen
