Job summary

RTX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide on-site IT operations support in a Windows environment, ensuring core services like DNS, DHCP, AD, and replication are healthy. You will troubleshoot, implement data backup/recovery, and work with Cybersecurity to maintain compliance.

Travel up to 5% and readiness for DoDD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months. This full-time role requires DoD security clearance eligibility, U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience using Active Directory, VMware vCenter, vSphere, or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Windows deployment, administration, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience using Active Directory, VMware vCenter, vSphere, or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Windows deployment, administration, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications We Prefer

• An active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
• Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products
• Scripting Experience
• Experience using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
