Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of a Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist responsibilities will encompass:

• Preparing and executing a mixed portfolio of subcontracts
• Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures
• Understanding the buyer and seller's roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements
• Specifying solicitations and bid packages
• Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices/terms
• Developing and administrating contractual documentation and post awards
• Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, or related fields, to include Business and Financial Planning, Contracts Administration, Project Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing; 4 years of experience with a Master's; in lieu of degree, 10 + years of experience may be considered
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
• Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
• SAP experience
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

Salary Range: $80,600 - $121,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
