Northrop Grumman Corporation in Baltimore, MD seeks a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist with strong experience in CAM/EVM, SAP and ERP systems to support the ATP Production and Punching Dragons Programs.

In this role you will manage on-time release, PO placements and delivery, track material budgets, analyze lead times, and coordinate with buyers, planners and suppliers in a fast-paced defense environment. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain required.
  • Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
  • Manage material budget for contract requirements; support baselining/EVMS.
  • Forecast material cost/performance and report on assigned programs.
  • Act as CAM to support PM, PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities.
  • Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to materials.
  • Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
  • Monitor supplier capacity and production issues.
  • Support development of supply chain strategy and supplier risk management.
  • Liaison with buyers, planners, subcontract admins, scheduling, customers and suppliers.

Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated professionals for the role of a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experiences in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.

The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Tactical Fighters Business Unit within the Mission Systems Sector supporting the ATP Production and Punching Dragons Programs.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist who is a motivated self-starter in Baltimore, MD.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
  • Manage material budget for contract requirements. Supporting baselining/EVMS requirements.
  • Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
  • Act as CAM to support Program PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities
  • Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.
  • Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
  • Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues.
  • Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers.
  • Support Program proposal activities (BOE’s creation, CBOM review, etc)
  • Support development of supply chain strategy – including supplier development and supplier risk management, which may include development of secondary sources.
  • Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers, etc.
  • Represent Northrop Grumman in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings (internal/external).
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • or a master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with either CAM or Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry to include Aerospace & Defense or Financial Services
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, DFAR and ITAR
  • Experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable
  • Experience with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements
  • Negotiation experience
  • CAM & Earned Value Management (EVM) principles certified
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
