Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Baltimore (BWI) seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to drive material strategy, assess supply resources, and plan inventory and capacity for multiple products. The role emphasizes data analysis, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires a bachelor’s (or master’s) in a related field with several years in planning, ERP/MRP experience, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in supply chain, material planning, or related manufacturing; or Master’s with 3+ years; or HS diploma with 9+ years experience.
• ERP/MRP experience required.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop material strategy and assess supply resources.
• Plan inventory, distribution, production, and capacity for products.
• Support long-term capacity planning and phase-ins/outs; manage BOM requirements.
