Description This position is an onsite position and available to be filled at any Huntington Corporate office location (see location options on posting)

Position Summary This role strengthens governance and oversight by identifying maturity opportunities, shaping and leading new initiatives, and using enterprise mechanisms to advance execution discipline, leadership visibility, and organizational readiness. This colleague will be a thought leader in governance reporting, compliance automation and oversight, and continuously improving processes, systems, programs, and operational playbooks. The ideal candidate will lead high-visibility, cross-functional work spanning governance forums, resiliency planning, regulatory exam coordination, cyber insurance renewal support, standards and policies updates, and Risk Committee readiness. This individual will operate effectively across a complex organization to identify and realize synergistic opportunities, develop executive-ready communications and presentations, and shape content while preparing leaders and colleagues for high-stakes governance discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transformation of enterprise governance visibility through consultative and centralized approaches and strategies that strengthen leadership alignment, elevate decision quality, and enable more effective risk-informed action
  • Lead and coordinate Cybersecurity Governance Forums, including agenda decisioning, material development, risk identification, decision-tracking, and follow-through on actions and commitments
  • Lead execution for cross-functional initiatives such as cybersecurity insurance, findings oversight, cyber risk quantification, and other strategic priorities assigned by aligning stakeholders, driving accountability, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
  • Build and mature the governance structure, operating expectations, and management reporting and routines that strengthen technology operational resilience and improve readiness across critical capabilities.
  • Drive integrated oversight across key security, resilience, and performance activities to ensure clear visibility, strong execution, and accountability alignment to enterprise expectations
  • Lead regulatory exam coordination by driving timelines, aligning stakeholders, and create traceability of information across disparate systems such as Archer and ServiceNow to connect risk-related performance data and improve line of sight into risk and cyber posture, for prompt regulator response
  • Lead support for cyber insurance renewal activities, including coordination of inputs, response development, and cross-functional engagement for renewal readiness
  • Lead the modernization and scaling of the operating model for continuous performance visibility, enterprise reporting, and workflow execution, strengthening consistency, proactive corrections, and disciplined execution across both priority and operational initiatives
  • Advance performance and execution discipline by establishing and driving clear operating rhythms, reinforcing accountability, and maturing how priority work is governed across the organization
  • Provide consultative leadership across risk and strategy functions to evolve operational and enterprise governance frameworks, shape enterprise operating expectations, and drive transformational management practices that improve consistency and execution maturity
  • Draft, refine, and present executive-level communications, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership, governance forums, and risk committees
  • Navigate ambiguity at the program- and enterprise-level to shape priorities, influence stakeholders, and advance high-visibility initiatives with clear structure, predictability, and execution discipline
  • Develop and lead shaping governance and performance content for executive and committee-level presentations, including Risk Committee materials, Executive Reporting and Board Reporting with a focus on clarity, relevance, and strategic alignment
  • Translate complex information into concise, audience-appropriate communications for executive, risk, and business stakeholders
  • Quarterback regulatory exam activities by orchestrating cross-functional preparedness, guiding response development, and maintaining clear visibility into deliverables, risks, and leadership needs
  • Partner with colleagues and leaders to prepare for high-stakes presentations by refining messaging, anticipating questions, and strengthening presentation readiness
  • Navigate complex organizational structures to identify interdependencies, align stakeholders, and realize synergistic opportunities across teams and initiatives
  • Monitor progress, risks, outcomes, and dependencies across initiatives and provide leadership with recommendations and governance insights
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of related experience in Cybersecurity, Compliance, Resilience, and/or Risk.
  • 3+ years of owning strategy and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Financial Institutions or highly regulated industries or environments with complex governance expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to build durable operating rhythms, governance routines, and executive-ready reporting artifacts across multiple workstreams
  • Prior experience with managing banking risk and the lines of defense model
  • Previous experience with the business continuity planning and/or other resilience activities
  • Relevant experience with Cybersecurity frameworks such as CRI Profile, NIST, etc. or other regulatory/assessment frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS, SOC 2, NYDFS, GLBA, HIPPA, etc.)
  • Experience supporting Risk Committee, Board, or executive governance forums
  • Experience with reporting, automation, workflow tools, dashboards, governance technology platforms, or operational playbooks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across functions and levels without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated success leading program transformation through consultative redesign of operating approaches that improve scalability, strengthen leadership visibility, and elevate organizational effectiveness
  • High degree of organizational judgment, executive presence, and attention to detail

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: $102,000- $208,000 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
