Job summary

Veramed is seeking Principal and Senior Statistical Programmers to join a specialist CRO. Roles are permanent with options for fully remote, hybrid or office-based working.

The Senior/Principal Programmer will provide programming support to the statistics and programming department across diverse projects and may supervise line or project activities. Key responsibilities include SAS and R programming, protocol/SAP/CSR review, CDISC validation, and maintaining audit-ready study master files.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or PhD in numerical discipline (or relevant equivalent industry experience).
• At least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with SAS and R in clinical trials.
• Knowledge of CDISC standards and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and client study, project and cross-functional team meetings.
• Present study updates internally and at client meetings.
• Author, review and validate SAS programs for datasets, TFLs and macros.
• Maintain study master files and audit-ready documents.
• Provide internal technical training where appropriate.
