Job summary

Nokia, a global leader in connectivity, seeks a senior Wi‑Fi standardization expert to join its IEEE 802.11/Wi‑Fi Alliance delegation in Dallas. You will contribute to shaping the next generation of wireless networking and represent Nokia in standards forums.

The role requires deep technical credibility, a track record of standardization contributions, and the ability to drive innovative concepts through the IEEE and industry groups.

Qualifications

• PhD in EE, CS, Physics, or related field (or MS with 10+ years in standardization).
• Recognized industry expert with deep knowledge of Wi‑Fi up to 802.11bn.
• Proven track record of innovations and contributions to wireless standards.
• Experience using link and simulation tools.
• Excellent communication skills and experience with product lines.

• Enthusiastic about Wi‑Fi technology and open minded and curious.
• Excellent communication skills and track record of working with product lines.

Nice to have

• Experience in the development of link or system simulators.
• Good understanding of agentic workflows.
