Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Production Operations professional in Sunnyvale, CA. The role leads project teams, coordinates with functional groups, and ensures manufacturing milestones meet schedule and budget.

The position requires a technical bachelor's degree with 5+ years (or 3+ years with a Master’s) in manufacturing, ERP experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Travel is up to 10%.

Prepares project execution plan and coordinates activities between client and company personnel. Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Oversees performance of projects or engagements and typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team(s).Working under an Operations Program Manager and with manufacturing operations functional management, you will be part of the team responsible for the execution of the manufacturing scope of a multi-million dollar naval production program. In this role, you will help guide and lead the manufacturing team by ensuring manufacturing issues and roadblocks are resolved quickly, and that the manufacturing program(s) perform on time and on budget.
