Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems per scope of work.
  • Evaluate vendor documents for compliance.
  • Review schematics, diagrams, data sheets, and analysis reports.
  • Ensure designs meet codes and standards.
  • Participate in delivering technical data packages and design artifacts.
  • Conduct trade studies for alternative solutions.
  • Develop and present design change requests, coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in design.
  • Develop electrical designs compliant with military standards and regulations.
  • Follow documented processes for electrical design and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and mentor team members.
  • Work independently with professionalism and ethics.
  • Proactively seek information to complete work effectively.

Standard work schedule is a 9/80. The position may offer a competitive relocation package.

Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Degree in STEM field; 5+ years experience for Principal level, 8+ for Sr Principal, with respective education requirements.
  • US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance (within last 6 years).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles, systems, and tools like Mentor Graphics Capital/Xpedition.
  • Experience with engineering specifications, schematics, and drawings.

Nice to Have:

  • Issue resolution and technical support experience.
  • Experience with ETAP, SKM PTW32, CAD tools, and external customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of analysis tools like MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.
  • Experience with Agile, data transmission formats, and continuous improvement processes.
Salary Range

$95,300 - $142,900 (general); $118,600 - $178,000 (depending on experience and level).

Additional benefits may include bonuses, long-term incentives, and other company perks.
