We are currently searching for a Principal Specialist, Program Management to join our Value Stream Leadership (VSL) team. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) Value Stream team with production efforts to include but not limited to production planning, production support, internal facing interactions with the customer program execution expectations, inventory management/tracking, obsolescence management, catalog pricing, and overall success of ACTT production.
Emphasis is focused on supporting production specific tasks and success of ensuring on time delivery, design to cost activities, inventory management, action tracking/reporting and support to subcontract management efforts. This role will participate and lead financial reporting to all levels of leadership. As program execution allows this role will also participate in customer interactions (internal / external) and risk and opportunity management. This position coordinates activities across the Collins shared services business model and requires collaborative working relationships with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and IPP&C (Finance) points of contact in various instances of onsite, hybrid, and remote environments.
This role will be onsite in either Cedar Rapids to be co-located with the program execution team or in Largo, FL for co-location with the manufacturing team.

What You Will Do:
Responsible for managing portions of complex production programs and proposals under the guidance of a senior program manager.
Knowledge of industry practices and standards and use of professional concepts. Applies functional or technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Receives minimal instruction on day-to-day work assignments. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise on issues. Represents organization as a prime contact on key issues.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
3+ years of previous external customer support/interface experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
