Raytheon's Land Air Defense Systems finance team is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (P3) to work within the Precision Fires and Maneuver finance organization. This role is for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) lead support. You will be working for an organization that is noted for its teamwork across functional boundaries. You will beresponsiblefor working closely with the cross-functional partners in Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Ops. The position offers anexcellentopportunity for someone tolearnand expand their abilities in the finance andbusiness managementdisciplines.You will be an essential team member performing financial analysis functions.

The positioninvolvesthe generation of internal cost reports, monitoring and analysis of cost data and financial planning systems and resources for presentation to program and financemanagement.

This role is being offered onsite in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do:

  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following: Financial forecasting, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and 5-Year Long Range Strategic Planning

  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information for the PF&M product line and manages/oversees deliverables to FP&A for month end close, monthly Short Range Outlook, monthly pre-forecast, yearly Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP)

  • Tie out all systems for financial forecasts, AOP and Long Range Planning. Responsible for consolidating, reporting and analyzing all financial metrics including bookings, sales, profit, cash

  • Support various programs and senior management meetings

  • Responsible for coordinating program related presentations for the PF&M Business Reviews

  • Identify continued process improvements, implement reporting efficiencies and ensure product quality, while meeting critical deadlines and managing multiple conflicting priorities

  • Analyze and understand data quickly to support strategic decision-making processes

  • Coordinate and manage multiple investments initiatives and work to ensure up to date business case development

  • Exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field & 5 years relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years relevant experience

  • Experience with SAP System Tools & Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Experience with Financial forecasting

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
