What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft and submit all export and import authorizations to the Department of Commerce and Department of State
- Collaborate with business units and Global Trade employees to manage the lifecycle of authorizations
- Ensure accuracy and timely acquisition of authorizations to meet business needs
- Address regulatory and policy violations to drive continuous improvement
- Work on assigned projects related to authorization management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
- Working knowledge of various export authorization types and regulations
- Prior experience working with U.S. government licensing authorities
- Program/product knowledge and general understanding of technology transfer requirements and restrictions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Experience with SAP in relation to export transactions
- Project Management experience
- Excellent leadership skills to promote a culture of compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
