We're seeking an experienced and motivated technologist with expertise in cloud-based game development, remote collaboration solutions, and virtual production environments.

Role Overview

As a Principal Solutions Architect (SA) for Game Cloud Development at AWS, you'll help gaming companies modernize their development infrastructure and transition to cloud-based production environments. Your work will involve implementing secure, scalable remote development solutions that enable global collaboration, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market. Focus areas include architecting solutions for cloud-based workflows, virtual workstations, real-time collaboration tools, and content management systems. You'll provide hands-on guidance for customer projects involving various AWS services and collaborate across Amazon teams to develop holistic solutions in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for game solutions tailored for the gaming industry.
• Architect and deliver innovative solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings.
• Build strategic partnerships within the industry, driving thought leadership.
• Create enablement content such as guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, and presentations.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to promote AWS solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to establish AWS as the cloud of choice for gaming organizations.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership within large enterprise games organizations or studios, with experience architecting complex solutions using AWS and multi-vendor environments.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with cloud development environments and virtual workstations.
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows.
• Experience with virtual production and remote collaboration tools.
• Expertise in secure access controls and content management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services tailored for the gaming industry.
• Broad experience across IT domains such as Cloud Gaming, Game Engines, and Analytics.
• Technical acumen to understand customer landscapes and influence AWS adoption.
• Business understanding of the gaming industry to propose effective solutions.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership within customer organizations.
