Salary: $230,000-275,000/annually + 15% bonus
A client in the live events and ticketing space is seeking a highly senior Principal Architect (T7 / Principal II) to help shape the architecture strategy across a global technology organization supporting 1,000+ engineers and some of the highest-scale consumer platforms in the world. This role sits within Enterprise Architecture and acts as a blend of Solutions Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Data Architecture, with a heavier emphasis on solutions/application architecture. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, influence technical direction across multiple engineering teams, and drive modernization efforts across a complex ecosystem of legacy and modern platforms.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience designing and evolving consumer -facing applications, with expertise in AWS, Kafka, Databricks, event-driven architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and modern data platforms. They should be battle-tested in legacy modernization, re-platforming, cloud transformation, and platform consolidation, with a strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and architectural tradeoffs. This person must be able to operate autonomously, influence without direct authority, and communicate effectively from the C-suite down to engineering teams, balancing technical, business, and organizational priorities while driving alignment across a highly complex environment.
$230,000 - 275,000/annually + 15% bonus
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
