Job Title: Principal Solutions Advisor (Category Management)

Location: Virtual within the US

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%

Overview

Blue Yonder, a leader in supply chain software solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Principal Solutions Advisor to join our Sales team, specifically focused on our Category Management solution. The Principal Solutions Advisor plays a key role showcasing and demonstrating Blue Yonder’s solutions in Category Management. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Category Management solutions within the supply chain industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the sales process, including demonstrations and presentations
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business processes, challenges, and needs to tailor and present customized solution offerings
  • Lead and facilitate customer discovery workshops to identify business requirements, and design and present tailored demos, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and solution walk-throughs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
  • Partner with Sales to formulate strategic account plans that drive solution adoption and client satisfaction
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Blue Yonder's Category Management solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, technical, and marketing teams, to ensure the success of sales efforts
  • Deliver regular updates on sales progress and strategic initiatives related to Category Management to senior management
  • Maintain and advance technical and business acumen related to industry trends and directions, ensuring relevancy and alignment with market demands
Qualifications
  • MUST have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Category Management as a Pre-Sales Advisor, Consultant, or Solution Architect
  • Must have a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on supply chain solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with a penchant for storytelling and designing narrative-driven demos
  • Proficiency with SaaS deployment and configuration; experience showcasing SaaS solutions in a Pre-Sales context is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player capable of working across various departments and organizational levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

The salary range for this position is $143,752 - $175,000, with a variable component.
