Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Architect level professional to assess and apply new solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture strategies.

The role defines complex architecture solutions, develops deliverables, and ensures compliance with standards across projects. The position requires a Master’s or Bachelor's in a relevant field and 3–5 years of architecture-related experience, with relocation supported and on-site work in Shoreview, MN.

Qualifications

• Assess and apply new solution designs against defined architecture strategies, principles, policies and standards.
• Define complex application and solution designs for specific systems in coordination with project teams.
• Develop architecture deliverables, artifacts and building blocks by applying architecture principles using an architecture development framework.

Responsibilities

• Audit solution design to ensure compliance with architectural patterns and standards.
• Monitor architecture solution performance and prevent performance issues when introducing new capabilities to the system.
• Collaborate with project and product teams to understand requested capabilities and provide correct solutions.
