ClearEdge is a mission-focused technology partner supporting DoD programs. We seek a software engineer to design, develop, and deploy front-end services for government tools on an existing prime contract.

You will collaborate with a multi-talented team to deliver mission-critical solutions and ensure delivery across the software lifecycle. Ideal candidates have strong JavaScript experience with React or AngularJS, OO languages, and container experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required (or four more years SWE experience).
• Experience building web-based apps with JavaScript and frameworks like React or AngularJS.
• OO design with Java, C++, or C# and container experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Nice to have: geo-focused apps with Leaflet.js.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and sustain front-end services for government tools on a prime contract.
• Collaborate with clients, managers, and engineers to translate requirements into software plans.
• Develop, test, integrate, and deploy software in aligned software processes.
• Code new features, debug defects, and improve documentation and standards.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure performance and reliability of deployments.
• Ensure TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is met for assignments.

Your Mission:

Work with multi-talented development team and key stakeholders to develop and support operational deployment of an entire suite of Government customer tools on an existing ClearEdge prime contract. We are seeking a software engineer who will design, develop, sustain, and operationally support front-end presentation tier services for our mission-driven customers. We are looking for candidates ready to use their skills to develop, support, and deploy government tools, while providing impactful mission critical solutions. This work requires attention to detail and a firm understanding of requirements, development, test, integration, and deployment processes.

Day in the Life

• Working directly with clients, managers and technical staff to understand business needs, develop technical plans, and deliver impactful solutions that solve client problems
• Designing and coding new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Debugging existing software, correcting defects and providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Designing or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
• Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areas
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
• Designing or implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products
• Overseeing software development teams and ensuring the work is completed in accordance with the applicable constraints
• Coordinating software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met Must have: * TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

Requirements

• You must have 20 years’ of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required (Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
• Experience developing web-based software applications using JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS
• Experience developing software applications with Object Oriented principles using languages such as Java, C++, C# Nice to Have: * Experience developing web-based Geo-focused software applications using tools such as Leaflet.js
• Experience developing applications using container and container orchestration frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Documentation experience
• Ability to work well integrating your contributions with others across a diverse team
• Mission-first work ethic
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
