Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC is seeking a Principal Software Engineer/Developer to design, develop, test, and deliver secure, scalable web applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement DevSecOps, RESTful microservices, and cloud-based solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in software engineering across financial services.
• Expertise in server-side enterprise apps and RESTful microservices.
• Strong front-end skills in Angular and related web tech.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Participates in architecture design teams and defines application architecture.
• Develops applications across complex projects and subsystems.
• Ensures QA readiness and documents multiple applications or subsystems.
• Plans project schedules and coordinates multiple projects.
• Advises on technical strategy and risk management.
