Your Career

As a Software Developer in Test, you will design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge technologies. You will build, automate, and run performance testing scenarios for our products in virtualized environments. Participation in design discussions and influencing the future direction of our AI/ML software is expected. Your role is crucial in ensuring product quality by thorough testing, identifying risks, bugs, or issues, and providing feedback for improvement. You will enjoy hunting problems within code, testing, and suggesting alternatives to optimize our product environment.

We seek highly technical individuals eager to gain hands-on experience with various networking technologies, working closely with development and product management teams to test and present results, and explore new approaches.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, and execute test automation for our next-generation security platform, including the Strata Logging Service.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
• Create tools and infrastructure to enable engineers to confidently build, test, and release features.
• Understand customer configurations, debug, reproduce, verify fixes, and add new test cases for issues found in deployments.
• Perform endurance and scale testing to validate robustness under stress.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product Management during product development from design to release.
• Report bugs and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Apply creative testing approaches to ensure the highest quality products in cybersecurity.
• Assist in testing specifications and develop new testing methods or tools.
• Work on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to automate cloud orchestration, visualization, and alerting mechanisms.
• Configure and expand functional and system testbeds.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and verify bug fixes.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• BSc or MSc in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years in systems testing, networking, or cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in testing cloud products like AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (L2-L7).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience in API and UI automation/testing.
• Familiarity with VMWare vSphere.
• Scripting/programming in Python for infrastructure and tools development.
• Experience with Unix/Linux OS.
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies.
• Experience testing network security products is a plus.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience in performance testing for microservices systems.
• Self-motivated and effective across distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation Disclosure
