Job summary

Enverus is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Power and Energy Transition (PET) to shape the technical direction, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, secure capabilities across the PET product suite. You will partner with Engineering Directors and Product Management, own major features from design through production, and champion testing, observability, CI/CD, and incident responsiveness.

The role emphasizes collaboration across distributed teams and a strong emphasis on code quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering production-grade systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Python, TypeScript/Angular, and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience leading technical design and architecture across multi-component systems.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of major PET features across the stack.
• Deliver production-grade code with strong reviews and testing practices.
• Coach engineers, participate in hiring, and set technical bar for the team.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align roadmaps with technical considerations.
