Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• US Citizenship with willingness to obtain Security Clearance.
• Experience with distributed data processing systems such as Hadoop and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Python.
• Strong design skills for distributed systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated technical lead of a SaaS/IaaS project with multiple engineers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design discussions to build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Implement and build cloud services on top of OCI infrastructure.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from design to production.
• Invest in engineering and operational practices to uphold high quality.
• Optimize data processing pipelines for throughput and latency.
• Leverage OCI tools to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
