Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Developer for the Health Data Intelligence and Life Sciences group in the United States. You will design and implement components of a multi-tenant data platform serving AI-first and traditional analytics workloads, integrating ingestion, storage, and retrieval across cloud environments.

You will partner with architects, product management, and other teams to deliver scalable, reliable cloud services while upholding security, compliance, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant software development experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficient in Java or Python and modern languages.
• Strong cloud knowledge across OCI, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with distributed storage, data warehouses, and lakehouse formats.
• Hands-on streaming CDC and large-scale batch processing (Spark, Flink).

Responsibilities

• Implement key components in a multi-tenant data platform for analytics workloads.
• Collaborate with architects on system design and deliver scalable cloud hosted services.
• Resolve complex issues and improve platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data governance requirements.
