Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a full-time role on a government contract, based in Annapolis Junction, MD with partial telework (16 hours/week). The team develops web-based analysis tools and a suite of microservices across React, Java, Go, and data stores like MongoDB and OpenSearch.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (or re‑installable).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 20+ years of Software Engineering experience, BS in CS or related.
• Four years of SWE experience substituting for a BS is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Collaborate with UI developers to determine data displays.
