Job summary

Infinidat in the United States (Waltham, MA) seeks a senior Python developer for a small, high‑ownership team. You will own the full development lifecycle for CLI tools and automation across Linux, Windows, AIX, Solaris, and more.

Responsibilities include building/maintaining Ansible Collections, IPAT service, and containerized deployments with Docker/Podman. You will drive packaging, releases, and GitLab CI/CD across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python development focused on systems/tools, not web apps.
• Enterprise storage background: block storage, NAS, replication, host connectivity via FC or iSCSI.
• Strong Linux proficiency across distributions and experience building/publishing RPM and DEB packages.
• Experience with remote host communication via SSH and WinRM.
• Container-based build/deploy experience with Docker and/or Podman.
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab CI or equivalent).
• Excellent written communication; this team operates async across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development lifecycle for Python CLI tools and shared domain libraries.
• Develop and extend the Infinidat Ansible Collection modules for InfiniBox volumes, hosts, clusters, exports, and more.
• Maintain and evolve the IPAT performance alerting service deployed as a Podman‑managed containerized app.
• Extend host and hypervisor integration across Linux, Windows, AIX, Solaris, VMware ESX/vCenter, Hyper‑V, and Oracle Linux VM.
• Maintain InfiniBox and InfiniMetrics REST API and InfiniSDK integrations across the portfolio.
• Build and improve AI‑assisted exception triage pipelines (AADM, SnapSync).
• Design and maintain unit and acceptance test suites.
