Job summary

CoreWeave seeks a principal software engineering leader for Developer Experience to define long-term technical direction across build systems, test systems, and tooling. You will own the hardest software design problems, shaping APIs, services, and standards that enable scalable developer productivity at CoreWeave.

You should lead with deep engineering skill, ship high-quality code, and mentor senior engineers through complex architectural decisions, while aligning with Kubernetes-driven

Qualifications

• Go proficiency with production services in cloud-native environments.
• 10+ years shipping large-scale production software and distributed systems.
• Strong multi-year technical strategy definition and cross-team execution.
• Deep systems design with API and data model discipline.
• Experience debugging complex distributed systems and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience building developer-facing tooling and platforms.
• Strong Kubernetes experience and cloud infrastructure familiarity.
• Proven mentoring of senior engineers and raising technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy for Developer Experience across build/test/delivery platforms and tooling.
• Own scalable delivery: optimize CI/CD throughput, build/test times, and release orchestration.
• Architect and evolve core services, APIs, SDKs, and abstractions for engineers.
• Lead cross-team initiatives to improve velocity, quality, and reliability.
• Solve high-complexity problems in distributed systems and architecture.
• Identify bottlenecks in developer workflows and implement durable solutions.
• Set technical standards for code quality, testability, observability, and long-term design.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, SRE, and product teams to integrate DevEx systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and grow staff-plus leadership.
