$172,000.00/yr - $221,500.00/yr

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and curious software engineer with a strong background in Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). Your primary focus will be leading, designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that enable the safe and secure use of GenAI for our customers. You will collaborate with software engineers, product teams, AI researchers, and security specialists to deliver enterprise-grade software products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of scalable software supporting security, safety, and privacy in GenAI and LLM-based systems.
  • Integrate security and privacy controls for GenAI systems, including LLM, Vector Databases, RAG pipelines, and guardrails.
  • Develop state-of-the-art guardrails and systems leveraging agent workflows and tooling.
  • Create monitoring and alerting systems for safe deployment of GenAI applications.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with standards like EU AI, NIST, OWASP, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate insights into product development.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers and product teams to integrate advanced GenAI and LLM capabilities.
  • Evaluate and utilize open-source tools and third-party platforms to accelerate development.
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of software engineering experience, with expertise in GenAI and LLM, focusing on scaling solutions.
  • Proficiency in developing GenAI workflows, fine-tuning LLMs, embedding and vector databases, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with platforms like AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Experience with large-scale unstructured data processing, NLP, computer vision, or multimodal AI.
  • Knowledge of AI safety and security concepts such as robustness, interpretability, bias detection, adversarial testing.
  • Experience in security and privacy controls, including IAM, encryption, and anonymization.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks like OWASP, NIST AI RMF, EU AI.
  • Ability to build and manage complex, distributed enterprise systems.
