Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and maintain features for the unified vulnerability and exposure management experience. This role will participate in architecture strategy sessions and collaborate across Cortex to deliver robust solutions.

You will drive technical best practices, evangelize new technologies, and work with teammates to deliver production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with backend development best practices.
• Able to switch between research, design, prototype, and implementation.
• Working knowledge of at least one of the major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), preferably GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Strong problem solving skills.

• Strong problem solving skills

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
